The benches are a bit deeper than most commercially available benches for comfort and stability. The are built from black locust wood with powder coated aluminum legs. Black locust is the wood considered to be most weather resistant of all domestic hardwoods unfinished. These tables and benches will last for decades with no finish needed on the wood, and will weather beautifully. They are smoothly sanded and require little to no maintenance. The powder coat on the legs is an outdoor specific “silver vein” shiny textural coating that will weather well over the years with the wood.
Size: The picnic table is 36”x72”x29”. The benches are 16”x72”x18”. With custom sizes available.

Folding Desks
in the time
of Covid-19
As we continue our progression through the Covid pandemic, with so many of us working at home, space becomes an issue. And, with the end of the pandemic in sight, it is likely that working at home will become, at some level, a new normal. Responding to this, I have designed a folding desk. It mounts to the wall and when folded it occupies less than 3” of space. My prototype opens to 21”x36”, which feels like a good size for working with a laptop or tablet, though any size can be custom ordered. This one is made from Pennsylvania cherry, with other woods available, white oak and quarter sawn white oak, red oak, maple, curly maple, Birdseye maple, bigleaf maple, walnut, quarter sawn sycamore, and curly cherry, as well as combinations of woods. Other woods are available on request. Prices will vary based on the choice of woods, and any custom sizing. The price of the cherry desk as shown is $1000.
